These terms of use constitute a legally binding agreement made between you, whether personally or on behalf of an entity (“you”) and Yourhome of Newark limited (“we/us/our”), concerning your access to and use of the https://yourhomenewark.co.uk website as well as any other media form, media channel, mobile website, linked, or otherwise connected thereto (collectively, the “Site”). You agree that by accessing the Site, you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by all these terms of use. If you do not agree with all these terms of use, then you are expressly prohibited from using the site and you must discontinue use immediately.These terms and conditions of trading apply to all contracts between Yourhomeofnewark Limited and/or our subcontractors (‘us/we/our’) and the customer (‘you/your’) in relation to all sales of our products and services.

Returns and refunds


Cancellations and consumer rights

You have the right to cancel your order withing 14 days of purchase. Further advice about your legal right to cancel the Contract is available from your local Citizen’s Advice Bureau or Trading Standards Office.To cancel your contract please contact the store on 01636 859111 or email enquiries@yourhomenewark.co.uk. We will then email you to confirm your cancellation.

Returning your order

Here at Your Home we hope you like your new purchase, however if you change your mind you can still return them back to us within 14 days of receiving your goods. Goods must be returned in a saleable condition using suitable protective packaging, please take note that we you to take care of the items whilst they are in your possession. We may charge a small fee to collect your returned item. The small fee will be dependent on the criteria of the product including size, made to order and location of delivery.

Made to order furniture and sofas

These special items cannot be cancelled once they have been manufactured, however in some special circumstances we may still be able to take return of these items, but a restocking fee of up to 40% may be applicable.

Refunds

If you change your mind, we will happily arrange collection of your purchase which is a chargeable service, dependant on size and value of your order. Once we received the items back and inspected them, then the refund will be issued.

Furniture disposal

When you purchase items from Your Home, we may be able to offer this service and collect your old furniture for disposal. We will safety recycle and dispose of the items. This will be a chargeable service starting from £40.

Guarantees

All the products you purchase from Your Home come with a minimum of 1 year guarantee, some suppliers offer extending guarantees and warranties. You may wish to enquire directly with us to confirm. Terms and conditions for the sale of goods via our website or phone transaction.

In the unlikely event you may have a complaint please contact our store directly so we can resolve this

Terms  

1.1.   The Site is intended for users who are at least 18 years old. Persons under the age of 18 are not permitted to use or register for the Site.            
1.2.   Any order you place with us is not accepted until we have provided you with a written sales order confirmation (by email, post or in person).    
1.3.   Any typographical, clerical or other error or omission in any sales literature, quotation, price list, acceptance of offer, invoice or other document issued by us is subject to correction without any liability on our part.    
1.4.   If we accept your Order, these Terms will form the basis of the Contract between us. You should print a copy of these Terms otherwise save them for future reference. We suggest you also keep a copy of the order confirmation email.      
1.5.   If we do cancel your order we will notify you by email and will refund to you any sum paid by you to us in respect of the contract as soon as possible, and in any event within 14 days of the cancellation of your order.        
1.6.   If you want to make any changes to your order, e-mail us or telephone us on 01636 859111 for further assistance. Please note that when products are ordered at different times, we cannot guarantee colour matching due to variations between batches. Changing an order may cause a delay with your delivery time and may alter the price you have been quoted.        
1.7.   Our images (including photographs and videos) of goods displayed on our Website are for illustrative purposes only. They may not be representative of the actual size of the Goods. Also, we cannot guarantee that the way your computer displays colours will accurately reflect the colours of the Goods.            
1.8.   As a consumer, you have legal rights in relation to Goods that are faulty or not as described. Contact your Citizens' Advice Bureau or Trading Standards Office for more information. These Terms do not affect your legal rights. A manufacturer's guarantee also applies to some of the Goods we sell. Please ask for full details of any manufacturers guarantees

Pricing and Payment

2.1. Prices on our Website are given in pounds sterling. Prices include VAT and any other applicable taxes but exclude delivery charge. We will ensure that the prices stated on the website are accurate and up to date. In the event of any pricing errors, you will be notified by email or telephone and we will give you the opportunity to re-confirm your Order at the correct price.
‍2.2. You will be able to purchase our products instore and via telephone. Your chosen payment type, (Debit card, credit card or PayPal) will be charged when you submit your order in store or via telephone whether you are paying in full or have only chosen to pay a deposit. This includes deposits prior to the finance application if chosen and therefore regardless of the finance applications loan decision.
‍2.3. Depending on how you choose to pay, your payment may be subject to validation checks and/or third-party authorisations
‍2.4. We reserve the right to decline all or part of any payment for whatever reason and should this occur we will contact you with these details

Delivery and collection of goods

3.1. We will deliver the goods to you, using the address you provided at the time of purchase.
‍3.2. We aim for you to collect the goods in an agreed time stated in the initial sale agreement, we will offer our delivery service in a 20-mile radius. Please note that our delivery times may differ due to lead times and stock levels from our suppliers.  
‍3.3. Once your order is complete and has arrived in store, (if ordered from a supplier) we will inform you of the process via email and arrange a delivery/collection time
‍3.4. Our storage facilities are for transit purposes only and we cannot afford to leave items there for a long period of time
‍3.5. Where applicable we will assemble your items, in the exact room you have chosen for an additional fee
‍3.6. Once we have delivered your item and the proof of delivery paperwork you become the owner of the items
